LONG TIME PTPA MEMBER PASSES

Butch Bettencourt passed away on April 25, 2012, from a lengthy illness at the age of 74. Butch was best remembered for campaigning Wolly Booger and Wolly's Revenge
mini modified tractors with his son Chad as driver from 1982 through 1993. They won
several west coast events as well as championships. Butch is survived by his wife Carol, son Chad, Daughter Gidget, along with 5 grandchildren.

Rosary on Sunday, April 29 - 6:00 pm at White Hearst McNamara Funeral Home

Mass on Monday, April 30 - 10:00 am at St. Brigid's Church, both in Hanford, California.

By request of the Bettencourt Family, donations can be made to Children's Hospital.

Rule Bulletin
Effective 5/3/2011

On April 16, 2011, prior to the Cal Poly event a board of directors meeting was held.
Main discussion was the support of PTPA by its members. With Hilmar and Hollister
being supported by PTPA as benefits pulls, these events will be the only exception to
the rule. Effective immediately any PTPA member competing at any non PTPA
sanction events will be banned from PTPA competition for 18 months from date of violation.

This is to insure that all PTPA members have the same opportunity to compete at
events and support their classes. It will also insure any promoter and fair managers
that every PTPA member will have the same opportunity to compete at all events.
meanwhile assuring all PTPA members that all purse obligations are met that are
set forth at our year end meetings.

Membership Stat Sheet

   The membership stat sheet for 2011 has been updated and is ready for download. Membership are $100
   prior to the first. After the first pull the membership will be $150. Please include your email AND
Social Security or Tax ID Number on your 2011 stat sheet. IF you are INCORPORATED please
   type INCORP on your stat sheet.

TECH DECALS

     2011 we will be using tech decals to insure all pulling vehicles are inspected prior to first pull.
     Inspections will be made by class reps. There will also be a tech sheet for every   vehicle inspected
     to insure our promoters, fairs, and insurance that vehicles are inspected on an annual basis.
      The PTPA Board will have final say in any inspection discrepancies.

Super Farm

A sample valve must be installed for water and fuel injection sampling, nearest the pump as
possible.

Billet Blower Pulleys

Any power plants using over or under drive pulleys, must be Billet. Cast will no longer be
allowed.
